THE ALBISETTI SPIRIT OF WORK

We don’t want to lose our soul for work.
We want to bring our souls into work.
We live beyond ourselves, beyond our benefit.
Even if someone near, for fear or weakness, tries to weaken us, we want to live life; not be lived by it.
We work by choice, not by instinct.
To transform our true spirits into deeds.
Our deeds are the proof of our thinking.
With our work we want to have an effect on the world and those near us, even anonymously, always remaining in contact with our spirituality.
We work because we feel we are instruments of something bigger, of God.
In our hearts we know we are unique and irrepeatable.
We work with the heart.
Where there is no heart, there cannot be personal growth.
Where there is no heart, there cannot be trust.
Where there is no heart, there cannot be motivation, passion.
Where there is no heart, there cannot be meaning.
Where there is no heart, there cannot be serenity, interior peace.
And so we say:
Enough of amoral jobs.
Enough of useless jobs.
Enough of boring jobs.
Enough of frustrating, alienating jobs.

NAIL DOWN YOUR LOVE

Walk on the street of lament
Rip time apart
Nail down your love
And caress death.

SEVEN BLACK HORSES

In the night of the cabin
I caress the indecisive butterfly
As sharp lightening
Cuts the dense darkness of the air
The rosary chain breaks
Purple clouds
Filled with dew
The chalices of the lilies in blossom.
Seven black horses pass by
To break amphora of the dawn.

THE BOOK OF THE DEAD

Where dreams groan
I saw grey raindrops fall
As swollen clouds stay to look
Prepare your skull
It’s time to go
Small overlapping windows
Tremble
In the sunset
Crosses swing back and forth.
Under an indigo sky
Slowly moves
The book of the dead.

WORKING WITH A CLEAN HEART

Unfortunately the heart is not expected in the work world.
But when important values disappear from a company – sincerity, honesty, passion, the courage of truth- the desire to work with dedication, enthusiasm and efficiency also disappears. The atmosphere becomes ambiguous, suspect, false and depressing. The work environment becomes an amoral place – ruthless and competitive- where neuroses and personal frustrations are vented.

LIFE HATES THOSE THAT MAKE HER PUSH

Life doesn’t like to lead human beings by hand.
Just the opposite, life likes to be led. She likes to be known, processed, improved, managed and lived.
Life hates those that make her push – the resigned, apathetic and tepid ones…
Life is generous and available towards those who take initiative, those who want to give her value and those that have faith in her.
She loves those that act upon her.
Since forever she is there, exactly for this.
Dead are the ones that let life pass by without living.
We don’t need to stop in front of difficulties.
Or better, difficulties exist to test our capacity for reaction.
Problems exist in order to be resolved.
We need them to learn, to draw lessons, direction…
If they didn’t exist we would have to invent them.

ORION’S BELT

The spectators tremble
As long pink breezes
Rise onto the dark stage
To caress
Sobbing lost souls
Hidden by the white smoke of incense.
On the silver tower
The bell is silent.
Up high
Orion’s belt
Unites with
The Milky way.

COOPERATION OR ISOLATION

Human relationships within companies, like those within the couple, are essentially of four types: cooperation, retaliation, domination and isolation.
Usually relationships start with cooperation until reciprocal needs are met. Then various demands emerge and retaliation begins. Following this, one person or group seeks to assume control over the other and domination begins. At this point the dominator uses the other to satisfy its needs. When the dominated person or group becomes aware of this, it defends itself through isolation

IN THE EMPTY SKY

As night spreads along the river
I saw myself reflected in your eyes
And I withdrew scared
By your petrified soul
The trumpets of justice already sound out
In the empty sky
Only you and I remain
Three nightingales sing
Among the rose thorns.
Don’t ever look back.

SOUL THEIVES

Beware of the people that never criticize you, that continuously compliment you, that never question themselves, that don’t communicate, that don’t express their feelings, all the while justifying themselves because of education, family or other excuses.
Above all, stay away from people that continuously try to please you.
Rather than helping you overcome the fragile part of yourself, they seek to satisfy it, provoke it.
They fill you with illusions, dreams, fantasy.
They want to steal your soul.
