Friendship is an abused term… it seems easy but I believe it’s a skill. Friendship is always personal, never generic. A true friend, even if he or she knows your negative aspects, does not attack them. To be a true friend is not easy, it’s a continuous mutual growth process. To be able to truly be friends you need to have a good amount of spirit. It’s not for everyone. To be able to truly be friends you need to listen. To be able to truly be friends you need to know how to create the right amount of distance from each other. In a relationship of true friendship, you need to accept criticism to grow. You should not confuse friendship with the need for another person. In true friendship there is also forgiveness. In true friendship you never humiliate or slander the other person. True friendship moves the heart and makes you go out of yourself. There are no secrets between true friends. Never.
