During days of meditation I have come to understand that it is an awareness of impending death that differentiates spiritual persons from others. In my vision of things, described in my books, published by Ed.Paoline, I see life as serving to prepare us for death. Death is the apex of our existence – the last transition and the most important one. Death is separation from the material, physical body. That separation is inevitable, whether it happens peacefully or not....

I am ever more convinced that in our death we will find the truth. The truth of ourselves, and of how we lived. No one can take this truth away from us. How we lived our earthly existence will be put before us. We don’t have to be afraid of dying. We have always known that it is a short piece of our eternity and that it must help bring to an end the mission that God gave each of us. We have to learn how to let go of everything—health, social status, riches, security. Death...

Certainly it’s easier to believe that we are not responsible for our thoughts, to let society and its powerful groups through mass media, condition them—even form them every day in a systematic, scientific, subtle, subliminal way. For this reason, I give importance above all to the way in which we do things, how we live, the type of heart with which we react, and less to what we do. Our lives are like a field of infinite possibility and opportunity. Therefore, the more we distance ourselves from prejudices and the more we open to the possibility of transformation, growth in awareness, and attracting people and situations that collaborate to fulfill our plans.
