I’m convinced that we live in an age when research no longer exists, or, if it does, it’s very superficial, focused on the surface. That indicates a sad loss for humanity – a loss of hope.
From the start my job has always been to try to reawaken people’s souls through the magic of the written word as it stirs the imagination. I never wanted to be part of an institutional church because too often those who are part of one end up being prideful and posturing, rather than soul-searching. They end up self-absorbed conformists and creatures of habit, rather than pilgrims of the spiritual, the psychospiritual way. Even though such a way is filled with traps, risks, and betrayals, it’s also filled with true joy, satisfaction, and deep, inner peace. I’ve always taught the need to go deep, to penetrate the profundity of what exists – not to let people and things go by unnoticed. And I’ve always stressed my belief that behind every tragedy lies deeper understanding and hope.
My God has never been separated from human beings. He lives in their hearts. My hope is that this blog will help you ask the right questions to move you confidently along life’s journey.
