It is important to know how to manage positively the suffering from being hurt.
The first thing to do is to forgive yourself. Don’t blame yourself. Don’t feel guilty. You must abandon the conviction that you caused the suffering. You must start to treat yourself with sweetness, like you would your best friend. Doing this you eliminate the interior carnage that was created inside of you and you transform it into your protector. You begin to reestablish the interior harmony necessary to become protagonist of your life again. Only like this can you give the right name to the dynamic of the person who hurt you. This does not mean forgiving or excusing or forgetting the person. It is giving the right name to the hurt, discovering its meaning in your life.
Also because, as my readers know, I am convinced that we are on this earth not for pleasure or power but to give meaning to our existence, in spite of the hurt and above all through the hurt. This way we give particular meaning to our existence that only we can give.

Perdoarmos e sermos perdoados, ajuda a construir a paz interior.
