MIDNIGHT SLEEP

We know from science that the healthiest sleep is that which occurs before midnight. But few of us accept this, because unsatisfied with the day, we seek to evade and have from the night that which we did not get during the day. In general we watch TV, but the images of the screen have nothing to do with the depth of our interior images. I advise, in this regard, to return to the peasant society when people went to bed early and they let their souls go dreaming of the world of images that live in our hearts. Sleep, deep down, as the French say, is a little death, and it habituates us to the great sleep, as the native American Indians say. How we face night time sleep makes us understand how we will face the last passage of our death.
