Valerio Albisetti - Il viaggio della Vita

SPANS OF TIME

Unless we really live the moments we’ve been given to take steps to change ourselves and move into other modes of living, they nag us until we are obliged to live them. There’s a moment given for everything. The human person isn’t so stupid and mediocre that he doesn’t know that. From his birth he continually makes himself over – or at least that’s what he’s called to do. As long as he’s unaware of his call to transformation or unwilling to work on being transformed according to his call and within the time allotted him, he’s unable to be open to change and grow to maturity. To full consciousness. It’s always the right time – never too soon or too late. And when these moments are lost, it’s difficult to regain them. On the other hand, in this moment in history, there are no longer magical places that can help him carry out the rituals of transformation. And it’s not easy to find spiritual masters. But the rituals, from my psychospiritual viewpoint, remain important. Without them, life plods monotonously on without meaning. Any hero of mine can’t do without these spans of time.

  1. Molte volte crescere comporta uno stato di angoscia. La parola angoscia deriva dal latino “angustia”, porta stretta. Per trasformarci quasi sempre si attraversa questa porta stretta, passaggio doloroso quanto necessario. Grazie Valerio.
