THREE POINTS OF A TEAM

There are at least THREE points, that left unsatisfied, will hinder the development of a team.

1. The need to use personal skills to contribute to team efforts.

2. The need to be accepted and recognized by other team members.

3. The need for the team to follow goals which are compatible with personal ones.

When managers recruit team members, they often commit the error of looking only at their skills and not at their personal goals.
Just possessing skills and competence does not guarantee good insertion in a team.

  1. Sono d’accordissimo con te. Il manager deve promuovere un ambiente in cui l’individuo appartenente al gruppo (team) raggiunge un senso di appartenenza e di coesione generale nonchè condivisione dei valori (mission) senza trascurare l’aspettativa dei propri bisogni professionali, sociali ed economici. Ritengo che un manager etico deve promuovere un clima all’interno del luogo di lavoro caratterizzato dalla percezione dell’importanza soggettiva di ciascun individuo e definizione dell’ambiente lavoro in merito alla propria presenza/assenza.
