Experience has taught me it’s possible to reduce the difficulty in communication with simple rules: When possible, use face-to-face communication. Use simple and clear and direct words. Always solicit a response from the person listening to you. Give full attention to the person speaking. In fact, the biggest communication problem is the inability to listen.
